Task:
All scientists work cooperatively with each other when working. This will be expected of you when you are working with your fellow scientists. You will be placed in one of four groups. Each group will be assigned an insect, bird, mammal or tree to research. Your team will become informed of the stages and time period of the life cycle of the insect, bird, animal or tree that you are researching, the things it needs to survive, and some other interesting facts about your insect, bird, animal or tree.
Your group will use internet resources to gather information and answer the questions that you are asked. Your group will then put the information together in order to make a PowerPoint to present to the class and write a letter to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. You will be expected to sketch the stages of the insect, bird, animal, or tree life cycle. You will be graded with the rubric that follows.
